New Dwelling, West Calder

A proposal for the creation of a new dwelling on a brownfield site located within a suburban residential area. Following life-changing injuries our Client required the provision of wheelchair accessible accommodation, as well as the incorporation of assistive technology in the dwelling, such as electronically controlled doors and windows. The brief also required the provision of a Therapy Room. We were appointed to provide architectural services from inception to technical design, including the submission of Planning and Building Warrant Applications; the preparation of a Tender package; and, the coordination of a Structural Engineer and a Geotechnical Engineer. Unfortunately the scheme remains unbuilt.
