Gaprigg Court, Hexham

A remedial scheme for a three-storey mixed-use building located in the centre of Hexham to remedy water penetration problems. The scheme involved the removal and reconstruction of gable ‘stonework’ including new cavity trays, new concrete copings to gables, leadwork, and re-slating work.

We acted as Architect through RIBA Stages 2-6, as well as undertaking the role of Contract Administrator throughout the construction period, inspecting and certifying the Works.  Practical Completion of the Works was certified in 2025 and the Final Certificate has been issued following the end of the Rectification Period. No defects were noted during that period and no reports of water penetration within the Apartments have been reported from the Residents.
