Private House, Low Fell 2
A project to convert the basement of a 1930’s residence into a sunlit west facing kitchen and dining area, with extensive west facing glazing, and doors opening onto a garden terrace. This allowed for accommodation elsewhere in the property to revert to its original use as living space. The scheme posed particular technical challenges, not least the necessary structural alterations, including underpinning of an adjacent party wall due to the steeply sloping site. We provided architectural services from inception to completion including the submission of Planning and Building Control Applications, the serving of a Party Structure Notice and, Contract Administration services.
